Loving God....Whatever..!?,

One common expresson today is the word "whatever". Whatever is like "anything under the sun, que sera sera, whatever maybe maybe" kind of attitude. It also means wahtever it takes, whatever happens,whatever..

When it comes to our relationship to God, we need to have that "whatever" attitude. It means we are willing to do everything and anything for our love to our Lord-whatever.

We can only do this if we properly understood how much God loves us...whatever...

"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only son that whoever believes in him will not perish but have eternal life".

Crisis?....Christ is!....

When we look to our world we see and experience many crisis. Fuel crisis, food crisis, environmental crisis, financial crisis, etc. These are real life challenges we faced each day. But more challenging than these crisis are the more neglected ones - the emotional, mental, relational, moral and spiritual crisis. When we put all these together, we come up with a crisis stricken world, crisis torn people. So, where do we find cure? Where do we find solution. Where do we run to? Here is my one sentence response: "CHRIST IS THE ANSWER TO ALL CRISIS".

Christ is the Creator and Sustainer of all things...
Christ is the Provider of all we need...
He is the Savior, Redeemer, Deliverer, Healer...
He is Restorer, Forgiver...
He is the Shepherd, The Way, The Truth, and The Life...
He is the Great I Am...
He is King of Kings, Lord of Lords...
He is Prince of Peace, Mighty God, Everlasting Father...
He is JESUS...

CHRIST IS THE ANSWER TO ALL CRISIS!

Vision

She was named by Time Magazine as one of the top 100 most influential person of the century, wrote dozen+ books and countless articles, travel all over the world, met 12 U.S. Presidents and yet she was born blind- Helen Keller was once asked by a reporter, "What is worse that being born blind?", she answered "... having sight without a vision."

Vision is a picture of a desired reality in the future. It is more than sight it's seeing the future with your mind and heart. For the visionary, it is more than a future expectation but a present reality. It's not just what you want to be but what you live today. It's not daydreaming it's living the dream each day.

Vision is so important that the Bible mentioned "...without vision, people perish", and "write down the vision...make it plain...it will come to pass..".

That's why we need a good, God-inspired vision for our life, family, work, and society.

My personal vision:

To be the best follower of Jesus that I could be...
To be the best husband that I could be to my wife...
To be the best father that I could be to my children...
To be the best minister of the Gospel that I could be...
...By Honoring God and Making Disciples...

CECFC-Not just an Organization, but a living Organism

CECFC was started 11 years ago by a retiree named Fe Muriel with a vision to uplift the physical, moral, and spiritual condition of the poorest children of Ilocos Norte, Philippines. She initiated a feeding program in one Elementary School. Part of the program is not just the free lunch served for the pupils but the teaching of Bible lessons to them. In this way, children are nourished both physically and spiritually.

After a decade of feeding, reaching, and teaching, the remote communities were touched and lives were enriched through the work of CECFC.

Today, Child Evangelism and Christian Feeding Center (CECFC) serves to four different locations, catering to 350 indigent children of Ilocos Norte(Paltit and Ar-arusip of Badoc,Carasi) and Ilocos Sur(Cabarambanan,Sinait) feeding them with free lunch 3x a week and nourishing them with God's Word.

With deep gratitude, we commend all the volunteers and benefactors who untiringly worked and supported CECFC with great passion and compassion. Your prayers and labor of love makes CECFC more than just an organization but a living organism. Mabuhay po kayong lahat!
